Position Overview | The postdoc will conduct research into numerical relativity-based source modeling of compact binary objects, with an emphasis on binary black hole merger simulations, as well as magnetized binary neutron star merger simulations with realistic equations of state. The postdoc will engage in research that advances the state of the art in numerical relativity methodology, including implementation of both advanced algorithms and improved mathematical formulations. |

- Code development within the Einstein Toolkit/IllinoisGRMHD/NRPy+ frameworks - Experience in high-performance computing and large-scale data analysis. - Excellent ability to communicate research to both experts and non-experts. |
