Position Summary
This Postdoctoral Research Associate position will support field and laboratory research in the Case & Blackwood labs in the department of Plant Biology, and support collaborations with various other researchers. The research will involve laboratory chemical, molecular, and bioinformatics analysis of plant, fungal, and soil samples, as well as field work to establish experiments in remote locations. The position also involves supervision of undergraduate and graduate researchers working on various projects in plant and microbial ecology, management of laboratory supplies and safety procedures, and writing publications and grant proposals.

Required Degree
Doctorate -Ecology, evolutionary biology, plant bio
Minimum Requirements
Interest in plant–soil–microbe interactions; computational and writing skills.
Desired Qualifications
Expertise in fungal community bioinformatics and with plant tissue barcoding. Five years of experience in a molecular ecology research laboratory
