Would you like to be a part of Winter Day Camp? At day camp you get to dress up, sing songs, participate in arts & crafts, swimming, Gaga, and fun games and activities all while making a huge impact on local children as you act as a role model and help them achieve personal growth.

As the Winter Day Camp Coordinator, you will assist the Program Director in planning and creating themed activities, providing excellent customer service to parents, and ensuring a great camp experience for campers.

In this position you will be able to use your skills to:

  • Develop campers to their fullest potential
  • Make great decisions
  • Recognize and support staff
  • Communicate with parents, staff, and campers
  • Think outside the box and try new things
Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year experience in summer day camp.
  • Positive attitude and previous experience with children and diverse populations.
  • Knowledge and skills in day camp program activities and related equipment set-up, and the ability to instruct participants in age appropriate techniques.
  • Complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day. Complete other online and in-person training as required.


Starting Wage: $14.67+ per hour, depending on qualifications

Dates of Employment: December 19 – December 30

Location: Sumner
