About the Opportunity
This position is for a postdoctoral researcher in usable security and privacy. Partial funding for the position is provided by an NSF grant focusing on the security and privacy needs of transgender people, and so part of the scholar’s work will be in that area. The remainder of the scholar’s work will be in areas of usable security and privacy mutually agreeable to them and the PI.
Qualifications:
Must have a Ph.D. or equivalent by the appointment start date; be able to undertake substantially full-time research or scholarship; work under the supervision of a senior scholar.
The ideal candidate should have expertise in cybersecurity, qualitative, survey, and design methodologies, as well as extensive experience in conducting ethical, impactful research focused on the needs of marginalized and vulnerable populations.
