Coordinator, Online Student Experience

Class Description

CCBC, a regional leader in online education, is looking for highly motivated individuals to assist with the expansion of online learning.  The Coordinator of Online Student Experience will work with the Dean of Online Learning, as well as constituents from enrollment management and student support, to provide cohesion and oversight to the recruitment and onboarding of online students.  Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field.  Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.  

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required, degree in Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Education or related filed preferred.  Master’s degree preferred. Two (2) years of full-time experience working in customer service in an office environment or preferably student services in higher education.  One (1) year of experience working in enrollment services or a student support area in higher education preferred. Experience in a community college setting strongly preferred.

Class Specific Essential Duties

  1. Track and report daily, weekly and monthly recruitment and enrollment progress for CCBC Online students.
  2. Work with various areas of the college to evaluate and maintain high touch onboarding process for online students. 
  3. Act as a liaison between Department of Online Learning and both enrollment services and student support areas.
  4. Assist in the development of communication plans for potential and new CCBC Online students.
  5. Monitor online program applications to ensure students are being triaged and directed to appropriate services.
  6. Applying best practices for case and data management in platforms.
  7. Survey new and potential students to improve business practices.

Position Specific Essential Duties

  1. Manage and perform duties associated with day-to-day customer services driven onboarding process of CCBC Online students.
  2. Track CCBC Online students from application to initial registration
  3. Effectively use data management systems to access information and/or document student meetings and notes.
  4. Provide regular reports to Dean, Online Learning and Dean, Student Services
  5. Establish and work on goals intended to improve the online student onboarding experience.
  6. Add and maintain accuracy of Curriculum maps to Degree Works for specific CCBC Online programming.
  7. Assist with social media presence for CCBC Online.
