The Wellness Center at Keene State College invites applications for a Counselor to provide mental health services to the College community and all related case management.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Clinical Operations the Counselor is also responsible for providing consultation services to staff, faculty, and administrators; providing clinical supervision to interns; providing individual, couples, and group psychotherapy; performing initial evaluations; providing crisis interventions; designing and delivering mental health programming and outreach services to the college community; and other duties as assigned. Post-graduate supervision for licensure available for professional staff if needed.  This is an 81%-time benefited position with appointment dates from August to May.

Master’s degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, or other related fields; experience providing individual, couples, and group psychotherapy; outreach; programming; mental health consultation; crisis intervention; and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.  

Additional Preferred Qualifications

NH State professional licensure or license eligible.  Additionally, the College has identified desirable qualifications that support our commitment to creating and maintaining a diverse campus community including the ability to speak a second language or to bring a multicultural perspective to the campus. 

Salary Information

Starting salary range: $38,820-$49,260, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, retirement, tuition, and paid time off. This position is part of the Keene State College Staff Association (KSCSA).
