Job Description


We are excited to accept applications for the Boston University Rheumatology Research Training (BURRT) T32 Program!

This opportunity is open to MD/DO or PhDs looking to advance their clinical research training in the area of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases.  US citizens and permanent residents may apply.

This program offers up to 2 year of training with a curriculum tailored to each T32 scholar’s research interests, including:

A selected mentoring team to match the T32 scholar’s research focus and career goals

Completion of a mentored research project, to be developed by the T32 scholar and their mentoring team

Advanced epidemiologic and biostatistics methodology training

Basic or advanced training in rheumatic and musculoskeletal disease

Specialized tracks in health disparities, community engagement, implementation science, bioinformatics, machine learning, behavioral interventions and mobile health technologies

Opportunities for graduate level coursework or degree


This program is under the leadership of Dr. Tuhina Neogi (Director) and Dr. David Felson (Associate Director), and includes core faculty with backgrounds in rheumatology, epidemiology, biostatistics and biomechanics.
