At Makom, we are looking for a Director of Fun, Faith and Experience to join our team! As a Jewish Organization serving Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities for 40+ years in Maryland and Virginia, we are looking to create and implement ongoing opportunities for inclusion and social integration for the people we support, the Makom staff and the community. That’s where you come in!

As the Director of Fun, Faith and Experience, you will:

• Create unique and personalized strategies to meet spiritual and religious needs of the people we so proudly support while keeping track of their efficiency, to ultimately maximize their experience while under Makom’s care and development programs.

• Create and track results of training materials for new and existing employees, as well as family members of the people we support to create awareness about the Jewish faith and values

• Build and maintain a bridge of connections to receive feedback from the Makom community and track trends of interest and enrollment to our programs for people with IDD.

• Lead and supervise the Fun, Faith and Engagement department to plan new opportunities which will support Makom’s mission and vision, increase brand recognition and lead to organization growth and financial stability.
