The Cleveland VA Medical Research & Education Foundation is a not-for-profit education partner of the Cleveland VA Medical Center with a mission to provide the finest quality service to our veterans and to advance the success of VA Research.
POSITION OBJECTIVE
This job is a primary support role in the execution of ongoing, grant-funded efforts related to patient outcomes in the Gambling Treatment Program at the Cleveland VA Medical Center. The primary functions of this role will be the aggregation and input of data from patient charts into a single database. This will involve review of charts using electronic medical record management systems and scanned copies of such records that predate the integration of electronic medical records in the VA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform specified data collection efforts
· Organize disparate data sources into a central database
· Provide administrative support for ongoing projects
· General data entry
· Collect, record and analyze patient data
· Participate in clinical trial monitoring visits
· Assist with IRB and Regulatory aspects of ongoing projects
· Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, skills, and abilities required)
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent direct related work experience in research
· Strong time management skills
· Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to handle a high-volume workload
· Ability to communicate effectively with researchers and colleagues, both verbally and in writing
· Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
