About Parent Trust:
Parent Trust for Washington Children (PTWC), a non-profit, 501(c)(3) agency. Agency-wide, PTWC directly serves 15,000 people each year, helping families to be healthy, safe, and strong.
About Child & Teen Services:
Parent Trust for Washington Children is dedicated to providing education and support to children of all ages through programs such as our SMART (stress management) program, Developmental
Screenings/Family Wellness Program, and Circle of Parents Children’s Groups.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conducting Family Wellness Meetings, which include ASQ developmental screenings for children 2 months- 5 years old, and parent wellness-check in
- Leading stress management workshops with teens and children
- Program outreach
- Program documentation
- Reporting
- Outcomes evaluation
- Curriculum development
- Writing Parent Newsletter
- Back up parent coach for Family Help Line
- Training staff and volunteers to work with groups of children, using the Parent Trust Circle of Parents model.
Required Qualifications
- Must be fully vaccinated and willing to provide documentation prior to hire
- College degree in social work, psychology, or related field and 3+ years’ experience OR 5+ years of experience working with teens
- College degree in social work, psychology, or related field and 3+ years’ experience OR 5+ years of experience working with children 2 months-5 years old
- College degree in social work, psychology, or related field and 3+ years’ experience OR 2+ years working with parents
- Reliable transportation and maintain the appropriate insurance, registration, and licensing for personal vehicle.
- Able to pass a WA State Patrol criminal background check
- Must be US Citizen or eligible to legally work in US,
- Strong commitment to strength-based family support principles and to ending all forms of family violence.
- Knowledge of child development
- Knowledge of positive parenting techniques
- Willing to be a mandated reporter
- Willing to follow Parent Trust masking guidelines
- Familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail, Google Drive and GSuite
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Ability to work effectively as a team member.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in school classroom environments
- Curriculum development
- Knowledge of adult learning styles
- Experience with outcomes evaluation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
- Experience using Zoom or Google Meet
Compensation
- $50,000.00 (non-negotiable)

Other Information
- Reports directly to Executive Director
- This is a salaried position for 40 hours per week
- Occasional evening and weekend hours
- Must be on site M-F, 9AM-5PM. 2200 Rainier Avenue S. Seattle, 98144 (unless in the field doing workshops)
