This is a full-time, non-exempt grant funded position that reports to the Dean of CTE and is located on the JWCC campus in Quincy, Illinois. The position is funded through December 2026. Position begins immediately.


 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Grant Coordinator & Student Navigator will ensure that the Access to Training Opportunities in Manufacturing (ATOMAT) grant deliverables are on track for completion. Those deliverables include the following:

  • Monitor and execute tracking of Competency Based Education (CBE) outcomes for programs under the grant.
  • Oversee creation of the mobile manufacturing lab funded by the grant.
  • Ensure equipment on the grant is ordered and delivered.
  • Coordinate with the Computer Sciences department chair that all course development projects are completed and submitted to the curriculum committee for approval.
  • Assist with recruitment effort for Computer User Support Specialist (Help Desk Certificate) and Industrial Maintenance students.
  • Ensure student wrap around services are provided for Computer User Support Specialist and Industrial Maintenance students.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or industry credentials recommended.

Five years of experience in CTE secondary or post-secondary education preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Experience in curriculum development, budgeting, grant management, computer science and/or manufacturing preferred.


 

SALARY

Salary range begins at $35,568.
