Western Nebraska Community College is accepting applications for a full-time Adult Education Director.

 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

Supervise, assign, and review the work of staff responsible for Adult Education (AE). Comply with all Nebraska State Grant, Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AFELA) and Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title II requirements. Oversee and participate in all work activities. Perform a variety of technical tasks relative to the assigned areas of English as a Second Language (ESL), General Education Development (GED), College and Career Readiness, and Volunteer Coordinator Program.

 

 

Required: 

Minimum bachelor's degree or higher, instructional leadership experience, grants management experience, budget management experience. Possession of, or the ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record that does not exclude the driver from coverage under WNCC's vehicle insurance.

 

Preferred: 

Teaching experience, knowledge of assessment, fiscal monitoring experience, strong oral and written communication ability.

 

Salary: Commensurate.
