The Physics Department at the University of California, Berkeley is conducting an open search to fill a tenure-track faculty position for an Assistant Professor in theoretical physics. The search is open to all theorists interested in quantum information and computation, as well as their connections to different subfields of physics, including condensed matter, high energy physics, AMO physics and quantum gravity.
Our department is committed to establishing a culture that nurtures the physics identity and removes barriers to entry in order to strengthen pathways into the field. To that end, we strive to work and learn together in an environment free of harassment, exploitation, or intimidation. Please visit UC Berkeley Physics' Diversity & Inclusion website for more information.
