Job Description SummaryLead ongoing research projects funded by NIH, the Human Pancreas Analysis Program (HPAP) for T1D and T2D. Ensure the successful execution of ongoing studies, analyze the scientific results to prepare presentations and write manuscripts based on those results. Conduct research in the field of human islet biology, including bulk and single cell RNA analysis, bulk and single cell chromatin analysis, and DNA methylation studies. Collect data for preparation of grant proposals, manuscripts and progress reports in addition to the supervision and training of students and postdoctoral fellows. Supervise two staff members working on the HPAP program.
