Summary of Job Duties:

Assist in molecular and cell biology techniques such as cloning, PCR, DNA
purification/preparation, immunoprecipitation, agarose and polyacrylamide gel electrophoreses,
immunoblotting, cell culture, and functional immunoassays.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of basic genetics, molecular biology, immunology, and biochemical principles. • Ability to use basic laboratory equipment, including balance, biosafety cabinet, incubators, centrifuge, pH meter, PCR machine, etc. • Knowledge of Microsoft office • Dependability and accuracy in tasks assigned. • Ability to communicate effectively to convey experimental results. • Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with faculty, staff, postdoctoral fellows and students. • Present findings in research meetings and conferences.
