The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami seeks applicants for a tenure-track or tenure eligible faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the field of materials chemistry, broadly defined or in a related field, starting August 15, 2023. To be considered at the Associate Professor or Professor rank, the candidate must have independent teaching and research experience. The ideal candidate should be able to integrate their research activities with existing faculty in the Department of Chemistry and other interdisciplinary research programs, such as the Frost Institute for Chemistry and Molecular Sciences at the University of Miami.
Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in chemistry or closely related field by the beginning of the appointment and significant postdoctoral experience.
