HBOI Postdoctoral Fellow - Application of Machine Learning and Robotics
Job Description
A Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer science, engineering, or related area is required.
The ability to work as a team player who is willing to train junior scientists in the lab is required.
Familiarity with AI and robotics, comprehension of common machine learning algorithms, data mining, image analysis, etc. is required.
Familiarity with conducting analysis of large datasets using Python, Matlab, or other programming languages is required.
Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, well-organized, and a critical thinker.
Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
Ability to travel and work in the field, including outside of regular hours, as necessary is required.

This position is located at FAU's Harbor Branch campus in Fort Pierce, FL
Initial funding is for one year. Continuation of funding is anticipated but not guaranteed.
