Job Description
This is a tenured-track faculty position. The College desires candidates with on-going professional development interests, love of teaching, and enthusiasm for campus and College committees and activities.

 

Preferred Qualifications
Prefer applicants with:
(1) A CPA license and a Master’s degree in Accounting;
(2) Prior higher education teaching experience in accounting;
(3) Practical experience in the accounting field;
(4) Knowledge of computer applications and software in the accounting field;
(5) Be team oriented and work collaboratively with colleagues; and
(6) Demonstrate a commitment to students through exceptional teaching and learning.

 

Supplemental Job Information
Must have the flexibility to teach day, evening, and/or online courses.

Pay Rate
A faculty member shall be assigned to the appropriate salary grade based on the College’s contract with the faculty union. The present entry levels are:

(Grade II)
Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the field $44,248,
(Grade II+)
Master’s degree plus 30 graduate semester hours in the teaching field $46,514 and
(Grade I)
an earned Doctorate in major field $48,781.
