Position Description

Advertised Job Summary
The Postdoctoral Fellow will be involved in several longitudinal research studies focused on quantifying the emergence of, and interrelations between, social behavior, visual attention, and motor skills in infants at elevated likelihood of ASD and other neurodevelopmental disorders. The Postdoctoral Fellow will develop and maintain data processing pipelines and disseminate research through conference manuscripts and journal articles. The applicant should have research experience focused on early childhood. Knowledge of developmental research methods, such as eye tracking, physiology (e.g., heart rate), and behavioral coding is highly desired.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
This position requires a doctoral degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human Development, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related field by the start date of the position.

Preferred Qualifications
Training and experience in developmental research; excellent computational, statistical, and technical skills; experience with eye tracking, physiology, and/or behavioral coding.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of research methods, excellent interpersonal communication skills .
