If you are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a similar major and want to work in an rewarding and collaborative environment, we'd love to have you join the Immersive Training and Software Solutions Group, KBD.

 

As a member of our team...

  • Your primary responsibility will be contributing to the development and testing of training systems using a wide variety of domains such as software development (C++/C#), product implementation (Matlab/C++/Unity), modeling & simulation (Matlab/Simulink), and data analytics (Matlab/R).
  • You will engage with APL staff and sponsors as well as provide capability overviews and briefings.
  • You will contribute to a dynamic group culture to uphold core values through participation in collaborative teams and activities, as well as a dedication to continual improvement, innovation and risk-taking, and developing high quality products.

 

 

 


Qualifications

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

  • Are pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a similar major.
  • Have experience in programming, preferably using Unity and C++.
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • Can demonstrate that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. You'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you...

  • Have a basic knowledge of 3D environments.
  • Have experience using Git for version control.
  • Have good writing and documentation skills.
