Outreach Associate Program Director (3-year limited term)Job Description
The Outreach Associate Program Director plays a vital role in the Enrollment Division’s recruitment efforts. The Outreach Associate Program Director develops and manages the relationships with high school administrators from Catholic and under-resourced high schools throughout the state of Indiana in order build a pipeline of students to participate in the Pre-College Summer Scholars Program. In addition, the individual develops activities specific for participants and their families during and after the Summer Scholars Program to support their college selection and application processes. The Outreach Associate Program Director also develops, coordinates, and runs college fairs for Indiana high school students, focusing on colleges and universities in Indiana, in order to expand student awareness of college options.
In addition, the Outreach Associate Program Director oversees the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and training of the Resident Counselor (RC) and Course Facilitator (CF) teams for the Summer Scholars Program. This individual provides oversight of the RC and CF teams and
guidance regarding the health and safety of staff and students.
The Outreach Associate Program Director supports engagement with current community partners and develops new local community partners to establish and enhance relationships that are mutually beneficial and contribute to the common good of the local community.
The Outreach Associate Program Director works closely with the Director of Enrollment Strategy, Analytics, and Pre-College Programs and also with the teaching faculty, staff, and campus department personnel for each of the domestic programs in order to develop a dynamic and educational student experience.
The Outreach Associate Program Director reports to the Director of Enrollment Strategy, Analytics, and Pre-College Programs and engages with the Enrollment Division through recruiting, participating in events, and by serving on one of the Enrollment Division committees focused on service, sustainability, social, or professional development.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
- Three to four years’ administrative experience
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, administrative, and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize among competing tasks; ability to develop and coordinate activities and events
- High degree of initiative and self-motivation; outcomes-oriented work style; creative and entrepreneurial mindset; optimistic and empowered attitude; ability to work successfully and with high standards in both independent and team settings
- Ability to work within ambiguous or uncertain environments and to manage crises with impeccable judgment, tack, transparency, compassion, and firmness
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with applicants, program participants, partners, faculty, staff, the general public, high school officials, and summer staff; ability to contribute to and maintain an environment that promotes diversity and inclusion
- Demonstrated confidence in managing areas related to minor/child student physical and mental health and in maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information with integrity
- Display a deep commitment to Notre Dame’s mission and core values
- Available to work nights and weekends and outside of regular work schedule (seasonally)
- Demonstrated knowledge and successful use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms)
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
