YesJob Summary
Support College and external events by providing exceptional customer service, managing logistics, and collaborating with other college entities, including Event Scheduling and Facilities. Serve as the primary on-site contact during events.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
1 Collaborate with various college entities to plan, setup, oversee, and cleanup after events.
2. Attend event planning meetings.
3. Check in and respond to customer needs prior to event
4. Test, setup, and oversee the basic audio-visual equipment in conference rooms and other event venues prior to event
5. Assist with room setup for events, including physical arrangement of tables and chairs, AV equipment, and other requested items.
6. Ensure room is unlocked prior to event and locked after event.
7. Check in and be available to ensure success during events.

Experience managing or supporting events
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
One (1) year paid related work experience.
Basic computer skills.
Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
Additional education may be substituted for work experience on a 1:1 basis.

Special Instructions
Morning shift, Monday – Friday from 8am-2pm (with some flexibility), with occasional Saturday shifts.
Based at SCC but will include some work/travel to other SLCC campuses.
