The Department of Immunobiology, is seeking highly motivated applicants for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate I in the Kuhns Lab. This challenging position requires a high level of enthusiasm, dedication, and drive drive for applicants interested in studying the molecular mechanisms in T-Cell activation and cell fate decisions (pubmed search: Kuhns MS).
Located in beautiful Tucson, the University of Arizona College of Medicine (UA CoM) was established in 1967 and has 22 departments, five basic science and 17 clinical science, along with 10 Centers of Excellence, dedicated to specific areas of research, clinical care and teaching.

- Conduct independent experiments, evaluate the data, and keep appropriate records of all research activities.
- Read the literature, participate in scientific discussions with other members of the lab, and attend mandatory lab meetings.
- Perform assigned lab duties to assist in the maintenance of stock reagents or the general operation of the lab, and various other duties or projects as assigned.
- PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, or related fields.
- Experience with modern molecular biology, biochemistry, and tissue culture techniques.
- Basic Immunological concepts.
