Educational Planner
Job Description
Educational Planner - North Campus
Responsibilities:
- Provide educational planning, registration assistance, and assistance in accessing and
- navigating institutional requirements to students.
- Provide career advising to assist students in choosing a career pathway.
- Assist with the graduation application process and commencement activities.
- Work with specific at-risk populations to create pathways for success.
- Serve as a liaison and foster intentional relationships with other advisors, offices, and
- departments.
- Plan, implement, and conduct retention and completion activities.
- Work with the Director of Educational Planning, Counseling, and Completion to plan,
- implement and evaluate the programs and services provided by Educational Planning,
- Counseling, and Completion.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, good organizational skills, and presentation skills.
- Must be team-oriented with the ability to work well with other staff and faculty members.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college/university required.
Required Experience:
- Possess personal computer literacy and good organizational skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience / training in one or more of the following areas: education, teaching,academic advising, recruiting, sales, customer service, marketing, or public relations – preferably at Community College level.
- Banner experience preferred.

Note: The duties of this position require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location during unrestricted operations with very limited or no opportunity for remote work arrangements.
Salary Grade: 21
Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. See Salary Schedule
