Full Job Description

The New Art Center is seeking part-time art instructors for all ages to teach 2D art, 3D art, and small sculpture. This position is for our growing event rentals that can be reserved for children and adults.


The New Art Center is a non-profit, community art education space which offers exceptional opportunities to make, exhibit, view, think about and talk about art. We envision the New Art Center as a highly visible, bold, anti-racist, inclusive leader in art education and community building that serves the greater Boston community with programs and opportunities both in our facility and beyond our walls.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have an education or studio art degree, an enthusiastic teaching style that encourages both skill-building and creativity, and working knowledge of materials and studio procedures. Experience working with children is required.
Rate is on a sliding scale based on experience!
