We are currently seeking an EEO Compliance Investigator Trainer who will advance the institution’s proud tradition of excellence in academics, student life and community service.


The Opportunity

Your mission: In this role, you’ll investigate and respond to complaints of discrimination, and conduct EEO/Compliance training (e.g., new employee orientation, mandated supervisory EEO training, etc.).


Your work: Highlights
You’ll assist the director in establishing, reviewing and monitoring EEO/compliance programs, plans, budgets, policies and procedures for all segments of the College.
You’ll investigate alleged discrimination cases by interviewing the complaining and responding parties, determining relevant witness and documentary evidence, and interviewing persons believed to have pertinent factual knowledge of the allegations. You’ll also investigate alleged violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and serve as a resource to the College in interpreting issues related to the ADA, accommodations and disability access.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in HRs, Business Administration, Educational Psychology, Counseling, or other related/compatible field.


EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of work experience in the HRs compliance, EEO or related areas required.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Proficiency with personal computer

Knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations as they relate to employee/labor relations, Affirmative Action, Access and Equity and Employment.
Knowledge of automated HRs information systems.

Demonstrated effective human relations and communications skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Excellent training and presentation skills

Must be able to work under stressful working conditions and meet required deadlines.

Must be able to demostrate experience dealing with all levels of employees.
