CEM John Wilkins Postdoctoral Fellowship

The Center for Emergent Materials John Wilkins Postdoctoral Fellow conducts theoretical or experimental postdoctoral research in the areas of Metal/Magnetic-Insulator Interfaces and/or Topology and Fractionalization; investigates properties of materials using one of a variety of techniques including materials growth and characterization, modeling, simulation, computations, spectroscopy, microscopy, imaging, scattering, transport, magnetometry or other techniques; collects, analyzes, and interprets data from analytical investigations to identify and understand the magnetic, structural, electronic and other properties of materials. Writes papers and reports for publication; presents results at group meetings and professional society meetings; participates in determining research priorities and planning research programs; mentors graduate and undergraduate students; engages in outreach to involve students at all educational levels in the scientific process in order to improve the quality and diversity of the future STEM community.

This is an opportunity to work in collaborative multidisciplinary research environment with diverse students, postdocs and faculty on complex problems that require a broad range of experimental and approaches, techniques and expertise. The salary for this position will be 60,000 to 65,000 depending on experience.
