Overview:

The Emergency Psychiatric Assessment, Treatment, and Healing units is a healing approach to mental health care where people in crisis receive expert treatment tailored to their needs in a calming environment. Responsibilities/Job Description:
The Administrative Fellowship Program is a one-year, project-based program that is designed to foster the development and leadership skills of individuals committed to a career in healthcare administration. The fundamental purpose of the program is to provide the administrative fellow with practical experience through direct exposure and active participation in a variety of administrative projects throughout the health system. Ideal candidates are confident, proactive, and are able to navigate through the complexities of a large health system. Candidates should demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to constructively handle ambiguity.
The fellow is expected to make significant contributions to administrative work throughout the care delivery system. During the year-long fellowship, the fellows will work with an executive level preceptor in the identification of personal goals, selection of project work, and development of leadership skills. The fellow will be exposed to work across the entire continuum of care and will have the opportunity to explore areas of personal interest. A desired goal of the program is to provide experiences that will position the fellow for future career development within Fairview Health Services.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Candidates should upload a resume and cover letter / statement of intent. Letters of recommendation are optional.
- Master’s degree, preferably from a CAHME-accredited program, in one or more of the following fields of study or related degree programs: MHA, MBA, MHSA, MPH.
- Applicants need to be eligible to work in the U.S as visas are not sponsored.
- Position starts June 2023 and is a one-year project based program.
- 80 hours per pay period (every two weeks).
- Location: Fairview Corporate Office - Minneapolis, MN.
