JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
A full-time postdoctoral research position in synthetic chemistry is available. The position is for 1 year, with the option to renew after an annual review.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The focus of the postdoctoral research position is to manage and drive the creation and optimization of a synthetic reaction method. The applicant should demonstrate experience in reaction methods development and possess the following skills: small molecule synthesis, large-scale preparation, column chromatography, analytical skills including NMR, GC, MS, HPLC, LCMS, IR, TLC, etc. General knowledge of retrosynthetic analysis, catalysis, and synthetic chemistry is required. Interest in chemical biology and protein work is also encouraged. Experience mentoring undergraduates and graduate students will also be valued.
