We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Residential Program Manager in the New Haven area.

What you'll do:

    • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
    • "On-call" responsibility, as scheduled
    • Supervises, supports and motivates all house staff.
    • Coaches and counsels staff to obtain professional and agency goals and objectives and completes regular performance appraisals
    • Implements all agency Policies and Procedures
    • Completes all personnel-related activities of the home
    • Maintains ongoing communication with the Associate Project Director
    • Assists and instructs individuals in all aspects of their IP and ensures that staff meet program frequency requirements
    • Administers medication and implements delegated responsibilities ordered licensed medical personnel
    • Implements programs and collects data, as required
    • Provides in-house and agency-contracted training and consultations services,
    • Preparation and adherence to budgetary guidelines
    • Initiates staff disciplinary action and works with Human Resources in planning and implementing corrective action
    • Assists and instructs residents with daily living skills, behavioral and habilitative plans, medical, psychiatric and socio-emotional needs

What we're looking for:

  • Associates degree preferred plus 2 years experience in the Human Service field or the equivalent combination of education & exp.
  • Experience providing supports to individuals on the autism spectrum disorder & with challenging behaviors preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Computer skills
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • And 18 years or older
