Overview:
Psychologist - Pediatric Psychology (Cass)

The Psychologist, Ph.D. (Non-Academic) is responsible for providing age-appropriate clinical services to patients; assisting in training of medical students and residents; providing supervision for psychology practicum students, interns and post-doctoral fellows; participating in departmental and other meetings; maintaining records; participating in the Department's rotating on-call coverage; and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide age-appropriate clinical services to patients of Nationwide Children's Hospital as appropriate.
  • Clinical services provided include, but are not limited to, psychological and behavioral assessments, consultation, therapeutic interventions, and participation on clinical service teams.
  • Maintain records on all patients served in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Engage in clinical supervision and other training experiences as required.
  • Participate in meetings within the Department of Psychology and the hospital as appropriate.
Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Education:
  • Ph.D. degree in clinical or school psychology from an accredited university.
  • A pediatric psychology internship and post-doctoral training or experience in pediatric psychology is highly desirable.
  • Must obtain Ohio Psychology license when eligible and within 6 months from your date of hire.

Minimum Physical Requirement:

Note frequency as Constantly (67-100%), Frequently (34-66%) and Occasionally (0-33%) for each requirement.
Also note any lifting requirements with pound limit.
