The Nursing Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for a Practical Nursing Instructor at primarily our Downtown Campuses but with a possibility at any Jefferson campus.

This position will be responsible for full-time didactic and clinical instruction in the Nursing Program. Other duties include but are not limited to:

• Academic advising
• Course and curriculum development
• Internal and external community service
• Educational leadership and professional development.

Salary based on qualifications and experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required, with the desire for someone that holds a Master’s Degree with at least five years’ experience in Nursing (two of which should be in Nursing education at or above the Practical Nursing level) is preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills are required. Preference will be given to qualified applicant with previous teaching experience, knowledge of nursing at the practical nursing level and leadership experience.
