Position Highlights | The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology is actively seeking a dynamic individual for an Assistant Professor, tenure-track position in any area of Pharmacokinetics. Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery. The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong research program with extramural federal (e.g., NIH, NSF, FDA, etc.) funding and provide instruction to PharmD professional, graduate pharmaceutical sciences students, and BSPS undergraduate students. Excellent opportunities exist for research collaborations within an active community of basic and clinical scientists in academic departments across the University, as well as participation in numerous Centers for Excellence that include Arizona Center for Drug Discovery, Arizona Cancer Center, BIO5 Institute, Center for Innovation in Brain Science, the McKnight Brain Institute, Sarver Heart Center, Arizona Arthritis Center, Asthma and Airway Disease Research Center, and Southwest Environmental Health Sciences Center. Preferred Qualifications | *Expertise in large molecular ADME, PK, and TOX. *Track record in biopharmaceutics. *Commitment to excellence in teaching and professional services. *Ability and dedication to develop an extramurally-funded research program. *Commitment to excellence in teaching and training of pharmaceutical sciences graduate students, PharmD students, postdoctoral fellows, and undergraduate students. |
