Job Summary:
Direct an internationally recognized and funded program of research in experimental condensed matter physics with a preferred focus in spintronics and optoelectronics of organic semiconductors, magnetic thin films, and organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites. Advise and direct undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral research associates in research leading to peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals. Teach undergraduate and graduate classes at the standard departmental teaching load for research-active faculty. Provide service to the department, university, or professional organizations through membership on committees. Contribute to the public science outreach for the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in Physics or physics-related area. Three years of postdoctoral experience. Experience teaching physics at either the undergraduate or graduate level. Candidate?s research focus should complement existing activities in the recently established Organic and Carbon Electronics Laboratory (ORaCEL) at NC State. N/A
