Lecturer in Mental Health

A Lecturer in Mental Health post has arisen within the School of Nursing and Healthcare Leadership, to join a dynamic team delivering undergraduate and postgraduate nursing education. Key duties of the post holder will be to contribute to the teaching, delivery, development, research, and administrative support of undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes, and other related programmes; including the academic and personal support of students within the school to equip students with the values, knowledge and skills that will prepare them to excel in their chosen practice settings. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to the student recruitment and admissions of the Public Health Programmes.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate current Mental Health Nursing Registration with the NMC and a relevant degree related to mental health. Applicants should also have excellent communication and IT skills, to include the ability to present current issues and practice in mental health nursing.
