• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, Human Services, Public Administration, Business Administration, Organizational Development or related field.
• A minimum of three years of supervisory, fiscal, and management experience.
• Experience in and knowledge of Head Start and/or early childhood issues and programs.
• Ability to pass a background study.

• Directs staff recruitment, training, performance evaluation and personnel management.
• Prepares and monitors goals, objectives, grant applications, budgets and required reporting.
• Develops and maintains positive and professional community partnership for the purpose of collaboration, networking, and information sharing.
• Establishes, works with, and reports to parent groups, Policy Council, AEOA Board of Directors, and partner agencies.
• Provides leadership and oversees daily management of all services, programs, and special initiatives.
• Completes annual community needs assessment and program self-assessment to ensure services meet community needs.
• Represents Head Start program at local, state, and national meetings and events.
• Serves as part of the AEOA Director/Leadership Team supporting the Agency.
