Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated synthetic chemist to join the Department of Chemistry at Winston-Salem State University as a postdoctoral research associate. The expected start date is November 1, 2022. The successful applicant will perform research in synthetic organic chemistry, developing efficient synthetic approaches for bioactive heterocycles and work with undergraduate students from a diverse background in the PI?s research lab. Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Synthetic Organic Chemistry or other closely related discipline by the start date.Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate education, have strong oral and written communication skills, and be able to work collaboratively with undergraduate students, the PI and other faculty members.
