Job Description
Dakota County Technical College seeks an English Instructor dedicated to excellence in teaching who desires to become part of a creative, vibrant, student-centered learning community. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspectives. Required Qualifications
Master’s degree with a major in English or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) in English.

  • Must have the ability to work with diverse populations

About
Founded in 1970 Dakota County Technical College (DCTC) is a public, two-year technical college in Rosemount, Minnesota. DCTC offers about 150 programs that range from an AA, to a degree in pluming. DCTC will allows students the possibility to go right into work force after graduation. Students who graduate from DCTC gave a 90% chance of getting a job after graduation.
DCTC has over 2,000 students, and a very diverse culture. Students of color make up about 20 percent of the population. 35.2 percent of students are low income and eligible for Pell grants. Dakota County Technical College is a public two-year institution of higher education dedicated to the philosophy that there is dignity in all work and value in individual growth and learning. It is the philosophy of the college that all of its students should have access to quality education that prepares them for rewarding careers. Benefits Info
Salary: Full time faculty salaries currently range from $39,212 – $84,192 annually. Salary schedule placement is determined on the basis of education and experience and in accordance with the 2019-2021 Master Agreement between the Minnesota State Board of Trustees and the Minnesota State College Faculty.
Depending on credit load, the State of Minnesota offers:
