Full Job Description
The National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) is the leading patient and research organization service for the more than 125 million people worldwide who live with psoriatic disease. For 55 years, NPF has been a dynamic and evolving organization dedicated to finding a cure for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis while supporting anyone impacted. The NPF is seeking a temporary Database Specialist. This is a fully remote position, working 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as primary resource at the Foundation for reports, data extraction, segmentation, and donor/giving status to support continual adaptation and improvement of fundraising strategy
- Responsible for running data pulls for direct mail and other fundraising activities
- Assist with data entry and segmentation work, as needed.
Requirements include:
- 2+ years database experience necessary; Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge experience required
- Computer proficiency, including internet, email, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail, including a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines and demonstrating good time management skills
- Technical skills in managing data, database, and other software systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of donor information
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to proof-read and edit
- Ability to take both verbal and written direction
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to use web-based tools for communication and research
- Project management skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; solution-oriented critical thinker
- Ability to work under limited supervision, both independently and as a team member
