The Office of Undergraduate Admissions (OUA) is housed in the Division of Enrollment Management, home to the Student Success Center, Financial Aid Office, Student Advising, Career Planning and more. OUA is tasked with attracting and enrolling undergraduate students to UWM’s three campuses. The department oversees recruitment, visits and events, operations (application processing), the CRM (Slate), marketing and communications. The team works to attract undergraduate students from a variety of groups: first time freshmen, first generation college students, transfer students, re-entry students, adult students.

Job Summary
As a team member in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (OUA), this position reports to the Assistant Director of Systems and Communications within OUA. The CRM Manager primarily focuses on the management of the undergraduate admissions CRM (Slate) including but not limited to daily needs such as record consolidation, deployment of deliver/mailings campaigns, import of various datasets, mapping, email and text message deployment (in the CRM), and queries as well as the development and maintenance for our application logic, communication plan, reports, fields, prompts, forms, rules, populations, etc.

The incumbent would be integral to CRM maintenance, customization, development, cycle preparation, training, and communication planning to support the enrollment goals and objectives of the university. This individual will serve as first-level support for CRM-related concerns raised by internal and external university stakeholders by troubleshooting, triaging requests, and collecting documentation.

Frequently, with direction from the Assistant Director of Systems and Communication, the individual will assist deployment of emails, text messages, and mailings to prospective students and applicants via the CRM and chatbot. They will validate queries for internal and external campus stakeholders with immense consideration for data security, integrity, and protection. As needed, the CRM Manager will be additional support to the Operations staff in the CRM-specific processing of applications.

This position is a hybrid position with the ability to work remotely during most of the year. During peak traffic times, additional days on campus may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or commensurate experience
  • Experience with database management



Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher related to data, business, or information systems
  • Experience with a CRM, preferably Slate by Technolutions
  • Experience working in higher education, particularly in a division of enrollment
  • Experience with providing trainings related to learning new systems

This position is in Salary Grade 23, with an anticipated pay range of $48k-$55k. Salary will be determined by the finalist’s experience, education, training, internal/external pay equity, and other factors. This position also includes a generous benefits package including retirement, paid holidays and vacation days.
