Perform maintenance on all equipment used for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning of college building equipment.
Clean and maintain all HVAC operated areas.
The typical shift will be consistent but semi-flexible with employees’ needs from Monday – Friday 8am-5pm. Cannot exceed 125 hours a calendar month.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain the filters and equipment preventative maintenance on all HVAC systems.
Assist Full-time staff with their job duties.
Other duties as assigned.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must have 0-2 years of direct experience in HVAC maintenance.
Valid Drivers License
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to stoop, lean over and crouch under equipment.
Must be able to work on a ladder.
You will be required to work regular, swing, and graveyard shifts at any campus when needed.
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, abilities, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College.
Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic background of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities.
