The interdisciplinary lab of Dr. Peixuan Guo at the Ohio State University seeks a Postdoctoral Scholar experienced in either molecular biology, cellular biology, vertebrate animal models, murine cancer models, human cell culture, biotechnology, biochemistry, protein/RNA structural computation, RNA nanotechnology, or nucleic acids chemistry. The goal is to transform basic science research in RNA nanotechnology and extracellular vesicles through innovative approaches to disease treatment and diagnostics, creating the next generation scientific workforce. A doctoral degree in life sciences such as; biology, microbiology, molecular biology, chemistry or biochemistry; strong oral and written communication skills as well as organizational skills and attention to detail are a must. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are preferred.
Minimum Education Required
Doctorate’s degree in life sciences such as; biology, microbiology, molecular biology, virology, chemistry or biochemistry, or chemistry.
Strong oral and written communication skills as well as organizational skills and attention to detail are a must; ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and to be flexible to changing priorities; Must have previous vertebrate animal model experience; Strong cell culture and sterilization techniques
Pay range is $48,000 - $52,000.
