| Position Summary |
A postdoctoral position in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department at UNMC is currently available. This position will involve mouse models of leukemia and hematopoiesis. The potential candidate is expected to perform various molecular biology, cell and tissue culture techniques, proteomic analysis, and work with patient samples and mouse models. He/She will also test novel combination therapies to leukemia using mouse models. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for maintaining genetically engineered mouse models of leukemia.
| | Required Qualifications |
A postdoc applicant must have a PhD and/MD and prior experience in molecular biology, cell culture, proteomics, and leukemia biology.
| | Supplemental Qualifications |
He/she should have at least 4 years of research experience. He/she should be well trained in genetically engineered mouse models. Strong background in leukemia/hematopoiesis biology research work experience is desirable. A candidate should have publications in peer-reviewed journals.
