| Position Summary |
Support research projects in Dr. Babu Guda’s laboratory. Specific responsibilities include developing novel computational tools and data analysis pipelines to analyze, integrate, and correlate multi-omics data generated from genomic, metagenomic, epigenomic, transcriptomic, proteomic and metabolomic experiments, write manuscripts and assist in developing grant proposals in novel research areas. Provide training and advice to graduate students in the Guda lab, and participate and present in regional, national and international research conferences. Occasional teaching of lectures in bioinformatics courses.
| | Required Qualifications |
PhD is Bioinformatics, Computer Science or related field.
Programming skills in Perl or Python and C/C++ or Java.
| | Supplemental Qualifications |
Working knowledge of Linux-based systems and R programming is preferred.
