Part-time Instructor for Nonprofit Fundraising and Development for Winter 2023
Job Summary
The Evergreen State College Certificate in Nonprofit Administration seeks one adjunct faculty member to teach undergraduate-level Nonprofit Fundraising and Development during Evergreen’s Winter 2023 quarter as part of a two-person teaching team. The team-taught course offering will be 8 quarter hours with the fundraising and development instruction offered during the second half of the quarter (equivalent to a ¼ time appointment for one quarter). The course will be taught with less than 25% of the course delivered online, and the remaining time spent in person on Evergreen’s Olympia campus.
Adjunct faculty positions and are not eligible for continuing appointment. All requirements for these positions must be completed at the time of hire. Salary for all positions is based on experience and degrees (see http://www.evergreen.edu/facultyhiring/salarygrid for more information). We do not offer relocation expenses for our adjunct faculty positions.

Job Expectations

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience teaching adult learners
  • 2+ years fundraising and development experience in a nonprofit organization. Experience in this specialized field may include donor relations, event planning, earned income strategies, applying for grants and contracts, and campaigns such as annual giving, major gifts and planned giving.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree
  • Experience teaching collaboratively in an interdisciplinary setting.
