The Department of Management in the College of Business at New Mexico State University (NMSU) is seeking qualified candidates to fill a 12-month, non-tenure-track faculty position at the College Assistant Professor level in Management beginning in August 15, 2022. The position carries a renewable contract and an initial course load of 6 – 12 credit hour per semester contingent on administrative load. A combination of face-to-face and online course delivery is expected. The successful candidate will have responsibilities in teaching, advising students, and service to the department, college, university, and community. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to an educational environment that supports learning for individuals from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, the successful candidate will have administrative duties serving at the discretion of the Dean.
Applicants for this position must have an earned Bachelors in a Business related field, and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from an AACSB accredited program before the start date.
Candidates must have at least five years of relevant professional experience, including but not limited to reporting, university business processes, financial procedures, among others. The candidate should be able to teach undergraduate level courses in areas related to Management, and may vary based on the experience of the candidate and the needs of the College. Applicants must also demonstrate evidence of effective teaching related classes at the college level.
