The position is for an onsite Quality Inspector. The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards. This role involves conducting inspections, verifying documentation, and maintaining accurate records for incoming and outgoing parts and products. The ideal candidate has a strong background in quality control, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other functions. This role will support Receiving Inspection located at 8745 Production Ave, San Diego, CA 92121 USA.
Perform inspections of incoming materials and outgoing shipments. Interpret and adhere to quality standards, specifications, and procedures. Use measurement tools and equipment to verify product dimensions and quality. Document inspection results and maintain detailed records. Identify and report defects, deviations, and non-conformities. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes. Perform administrative tasks associated with file management and material control. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
Previous inspection experience Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Strong knowledge of quality control principles, tools, and techniques. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organization. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written SAP and Microsoft Office. Experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Primarily an individual contributor but will need to work with warehouse personnel and Quality.
