KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Strategic Projects to join our Talent & Culture organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Create change management strategies, develop and implement plans to manage change; lead, coordinate and manage change management activities; monitor and assess impact
  • Act as a trusted advisor and provide recommendations on handling change; communicate change management plans to key stakeholders to ensure understanding and buy-in
  • Manage all projects from initiation through launch; develop overall project and communication plans; ensure the overall project scope, specific deliverables and related quality objectives are agreed to by the project team and appropriate leadership; drive project execution, track status of all project components and manage changes in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Oversee project reports to include status of project scope, deliverables and schedule; manage project team communications to include all project team related meetings and written communications; monitor utilization of resources; identify and address project risks through collaboration with project stakeholders and escalate as needed
  • Play key role in ad-hoc projects across the Total Rewards landscape and/or liaise with Total Rewards Department leadership to develop presentations visible to other leadership such as TCLT, Business SteerCo, and others around these projects; develop agenda for those meetings and proactively meets with Department leaders and/or other T&C colleagues to prepare for these presentations/meetings
  • Analyze metrics, key reports, plans and assesses any risks to advise Total Rewards leadership; works with department leadership to make strategic recommendations on projects and overall planning, and pivots accordingly
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent, progressive Human Resources experience with at least three years focused on project and change management; experience with performance development and/or compensation highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; preferably in business or other relevant field of study; PMP certification preferred
  • Superior program management skills and the ability to negotiate quality outcomes; experience partnering and working directly with senior leaders, building collaborative relationships both within the organization and with internal clients
  • Experience and proven ability to be a change leader; demonstrated experience with process optimization or continuous improvement in a PMO
  • Good communication skills (written, verbal) and executive presence that spans diverse stakeholders and team members across firm, levels of leadership and roles; ability to articulate stakeholder management strategies
  • Deep understanding of firm's business strategies and priorities
