Job Summary
The Prevention Research Collaborative, based in the Department of Health Behavior & Health Equity (HBHE) at the University of Michigan School of Public Health seeks an experienced public health training professional to serve as Managing Director for the newly funded NIH-funded ComPASS Health Equity Research Hub. The position will work closely with the Hub Co-Directors to manage the day-to-day operations of the Hub, with a particular focus on leading an intensive scholar training program and other innovative training and technical assistance initiatives. The ComPASS Research Hub is one of 5 funded Health Equity Research Hubs nationwide that will provide localized technical assistance and scientific support for the Community Health and Equity Structural Interventions, as well as partnership support, research capacity-building, and training. The UM ComPASS Health Equity Research Hub is housed in the Prevention Research Collaborative (PRC), which brings together research teams from the CDC-funded Prevention Research Center, Michigan Youth Violence Prevention Center, Healthy Minds Network, Housing and Health Equity Solutions, and several affiliated federally-funded research indicatives focusing on school and community-based approaches to promoting safe, healthy, and equitable communities. This position will report directly to the Senior Managing Director of the Collaborative, working closely with the faculty leadership of the Hub.

Required Qualifications*
Lead Level: Master's degree in public health, social work, information science, communications, or another related field and 7+ years of experience working in a related field.
Senior Level: Master's degree in public health, social work, information science, communications, or another related field and 5-7 years of experience working in a related field.
Modes of Work
Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.
This is a hybrid position, with an expected recurring onsite presence. 1-2 days per week of campus work is preferred, and monthly in-person meetings are required.
Underfill Statement
This position may be underfilled at a lower classification depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. The salary offered will be commensurate with the position level. Two levels are possible: Lead and Senior
Lead level: $88,000 - $100,000
Senior level: $75,000 - $87,500
