Warehouse Supervisor

A Warehouse Supervisor is a key role responsible for overseeing the operations and staff in a warehouse facility. They play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day activities, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining a smooth operation. This position will work in the day-to-day warehouse operations in providing logistics support services, and this specific position will perform Quality Control and manage long-range scheduling coordination of medical material. Additionally, they implement and enforce safety protocols, ensure proper handling and storage of products, and maintain accurate records of inventory and transactions. A Warehouse Supervisor also plays a role in evaluating and training warehouse staff, fostering a positive work environment, and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Warehouse Supervisor: 65,00.00-$70,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervise the day-to-day warehouse activities to ensure desired logistics objectives.
  • Help ensure priorities, and schedules are met by communicating daily objectives to warehouse personnel.
  • Assist with logistics functions to ensure efficient, timely support to military personnel.
  • Help troubleshoot problem areas in logistics and coordinate resolutions and/or recommendations to support efficient warehouse operations.
  • Routinely monitor expeditionary force Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP) cycle
  • Assist with the maintenance of all equipment and inform the Project Manager of any broken equipment or machinery.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Warehouse Supervisor Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4-8 years of warehouse or logistics experience.
  • Must be able to demonstrate significant attention to detail, written and oral communication skills, and maintain access and qualifications to all required systems on provided GFE, to include forklifts
  • Demonstrate written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory control systems, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficiency with WMS software to track and manage inventory.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and other safety regulations.
  • Ability to analyze data for inventory accuracy, efficiency, and productivity improvements.
  • Providing excellent service to internal and external customers.
  • Must be detailed-oriented, demonstrate good time-management skills and manage workload with minimal oversight
  • Skills in resolving conflicts and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs comfortably
  • The ability to obtain forklift safety certification
  • Past applicable job experience may include, but is not limited to: Warehouse Manager, Logistics Supervisor, or Operations Supervisor
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
